Steve Gleason to live-tweet during New Orleans Saints vs Philadelphia Eagles game

Posted Dec 31, 2013

Steve Gleason tweets (@TeamGleason) with his eyes on his wheelchair mounted computer

Former New Orleans Saints safety Steve Gleason will live tweet (@TeamGleason) as NBC’s guest social media analyst during the NFC Wild Card Playoff matchup between the Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday, January 4.

To live-tweet is to engage on Twitter for a continuous period of time with a sequence of focused Tweets.

Gleason tweets with his eyes using his wheelchair mounted computer. Along with tweeting, Gleason speaks through a synthetic voice, reads and responds to email, plays iTunes and surfs the Internet with just his eyes.

Kickoff at Lincoln Financial is set for 7:10 CDT and the game will be nationally televised on NBC (WDSU-6 locally). The broadcast crew consists of Al Michaels (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth (color analyst) and Michele Tafoya (sideline).
