Lifetime Goal: To travel around the world to experience different cultures. To continue learning and growing as a person. To live a happy and healthy life. To become an established and successful TV and film actress. To star in a TV show. To one day find my soul mate.
Best Habit: My ability to block out the negative and persevere through just about anything that comes my way
Worst Habit: Putting too much on my plate at one time. It makes me rush around like a mad woman. Sometimes I forget to enjoy the journey I’m on because I’m too fixated on the destination.
Best experience of being a New Orleans Saintsation so far: This year’s retreat and calendar shoot in Destin blew the roof off of everything for me. Although we were working hard shooting the calendar, doing promos for the LeCiel resort in SanDestin, and doing interviews, it didn’t feel like work because it was beautiful everywhere we went and we were having so much fun! We could go to the beach on our downtime or spend time getting to know each other at the pool. We made some great memories with the yacht adventure to crab island too!
Best thing about being a Saintsation: Being a role model to younger girls in the local community and being able to inspire them to work hard to achieve their goals. Not to mention we have the best seat in the Superdome on game day!
Advice for younger girls: Be yourself, there is only one you. Don’t let your dreams remain your dreams, make them come true!
Trait you admire most in other people: Patience
What is your most outstanding attribute: My ambition. When I set my mind on something, I will not take no for an answer.
Other than your family, who is a positive role model in your life: My acting coach, Jim Gleason. He has such a passion for teaching and acting. He has a brilliant way of making you see past the text and really understand and connect to what is really going on with your character.
If you had the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why: I would love to travel all over the world, but first on my list is Spain and Ibiza. I would love to explore Spain, visit my family in Barcelona, and improve my Spanish, my second language. It would be a dream to explore the Spanish culture, relax on the beautiful beaches, and listen to Flamenco Guitar. It would be the trip of a lifetime if my Cuban grandmother, Mami, could take this trip with me.
