Bush is a fourth-year safety who originally came into the NFL in 2010 as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State. After appearing in seven regular season games with the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos, and enjoying two stints on the Falcons practice squad, Bush joined the Saints immediately following the end of the 2012 preseason and led the special teams units with 15 tackles while also contributing to the secondary. In 2013, he appeared in 13 games with six starts in the secondary, posting 46 tackles (29 solo), six passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, while adding four special teams stops.

On defense, recorded 13 tackles (nine solo), an interception, a pass defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery…In Saints debut vs. Washington, Sept. 9, registered a career-high three special teams tackles…Tallied two special teams stops vs. San Diego, Oct. 7…Recovered a fumble on special teams vs. San Francisco, Nov. 25…Filled up the stat sheet with four stops (two solo), a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a special teams stop at Atlanta, Nov. 29…In his most extensive action on defense to date, finished with four tackles (three solo), a 40-yard interception return and one pass defensed vs. Tampa Bay, Dec. 16…Had one solo tackle, while tying his career-high with three special teams stops at Dallas, Dec. 23.   2011 – Appeared in six regular season games and two postseason contests for the Denver Broncos.
