NFL CAREER – After starting his career with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and facing the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, Humber came to New Orleans towards the end of the 2010 season and for the past five seasons has been a special teams standout, while contributing on defense. The North Dakota State product has appeared in 78 career games with 14 starts, tallying 122 tackles (84 solo), 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble, three passes defensed and 66 special teams stops. Humber comes off a season where he was voted by his teammates as a special teams captain and saw extensive action on both defense and coverage units, appearing in 15 games with six starts and posting a career-high with 51 stops, (42 solo), one sack and one pass defensed, while adding 13 special teams stops.
