COLLEGE – Emerged as one of the top cornerbacks in the country during his senior campaign at Nebraska…Played in 36 games and recorded 74 tackles (50 solo), one sack, seven interceptions, 22 passes defensed and seven special teams stops…Opened career at wide receiver, where he notched a seven-yard reception in 2011 before switching to cornerback before conference play opened…Started all 13 games as a senior and was second-team All-Big Ten as he posted 41 tackles (27 solo), one sack, four interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and 12 passes defensed…In 2013, played in 14 games with five starts and made 24 tackles (18 solo), two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, nine passes defensed and four special teams stops…After switching to cornerback in 2011 recorded nine tackles (five solo), one pass defensed and three special teams stops…Was enrolled at Nebraska in 2010 and did not see any action but was named to the Conference Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll…Redshirted at Fort Scott Community College as a freshman in 2009…Graduated with degree in sociology.

PERSONAL – Attended Miami (Fla.) Central HS for first three years and then joined football team at Westlake (Davie, Fla.) Prep as a senior where he played WR and S and had 21 catches for 569 yards and seven TDs through the first five games…Defensively, registered six interceptions and two TDs…Spent a post-graduate year at North Carolina Tech Preparatory Christian Academy where he totaled 36 receptions for 580 yards in 2008…Volunteered time with Husker Heroes and local hospital visits while an undergraduate at Nebraska…Born April. 12, 1990 in Miami, Fla.
